Turdus (American Robin) Sticker

During the spring of 2021, I took an ornithology class. And while the class taught me much about our feathered friends, the only fact worth turning into a literal sticker was this: in 1758, a prophetically comedic man by the name of Carl Linnaeus decided that the scientific name of the Robin (and all other thrushes) should be "Turdus."

Thank you, Carl.

In honor to his legacy of discovery, and these beautiful (if not terribly common, loud, and vaguely uninteresting) birds, I have created this sticker to let you spread the good news of the Robin's rightful name. Put it on your notebook. Your car. Your self (if you're into ironic self-depreciation, as I am.) Just go for it, guys.

I only have about 50 of these, so if you're interested, don't wait!

ABOUT THE STICKER:

These stickers are about 3" from beak to tail and are seriously sturdy. Printed on durable vinyl, these bad buffers hold their own against sunlight, water, and scratches. I've been using the same manufacturer for a while, and I've seen their stickers last on waterbottles for YEARS, enduring falls, snide remarks, and other mishaps. Sometimes I wish I had their level of endurance and determination.
